Albert Rosenberg Celebrates with Laniado!
We would all like to live a long life. But should we be as fortunate as Mr Albert Rosenberg to celebrate a 90th birthday surrounded by family, friends and community members, we would certainly take a leaf out of his charity manual.
Mr Rosenberg has been a stalwart of the Jewish community in London for many years lending his expertise, his generosity and time to many institutions benefitting local and international causes, amongst them Laniado Hospital in Israel.
Albert, together with his beloved wife Hilda o'bm, were amongst the very early supporters of Laniado Hospital. Every vacation that they spent in Netanya would be accompanied by a phone call to the hospital asking to come and see the progress being made and at the same time bringing in much needed funds.

In honour of his 90th birthday landmark, Mr Rosenberg appealed to his friends to donate all gifts to purchase an item of equipment at the hospital and raised over £2000 toward this end. His own shul, Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue, were amongst the benfactors honouring his life and work and presented him with a certificate acknowledging his contribution and achievements to the community.
We wish Mr Rosenberg a happy, healthy year ahead, many thanks for his kindness and generosity toward the patients and doctors at Laniado and together with his family and friends extend our hearty Mazel Tov on this great occasion!
