Laniado Charity Golf Day

"Golf Fore Life"

Hartsbourne Golf and Country Club saw the Annual Charity Golf day run by the Captain, Mr. Brian Gold.  This year's charity beneficiary was Laniado Hospital in Netanya.

22 intrepid teams of 4 made their way round the Hartsbourne course, which was blessed with an unusually seasonal warm day.  An enjoyable day was had by all with competition fierce but fair and the overall winners being a team led by Daniel Kattan, John Isaacs, Jonathan Lawrence and Tony Plaskow. Overall winner was Jason Traub, 36, with 47 points.

Much more important than the winning was the atmosphere, where everyone had a great time in the knowledge that the outcome would be a substantial donation to an extremely worthwhile cause.  Gentlemen's Captain, Mr Brian Gold said, "When choosing the Captain's charity, it was a privilege and an honour to choose Laniado Hospital in helping to save lives."

The day raised £14,000 for the charity.
