What You Can Do
No matter your age or circumstances, there is a place and a way for you to impact the lives of others in a most profound and, literally, life-altering way. The people of Netanya, Laniado Hospital and all of us at Laniado UK invite you to join forces with us to strengthen our message of hope and to help achieve our vision of healing and harmony, now and in the future.
JustGiving
Our strongest partnership to date has been with the JustGiving website making fundraising easy for everyone. Explore the opportunities and see others that have helped us through JustGiving:
Our newest committees include:
The Ladies Committee
Is your husband/boyfriend the only one involved with the charity? This is a typical complaint we have heard from many families involved with charities. Years ago charity involvement included the entire family and welcomed all their talent and input. It was where people socialised and often met their future partners. Sadly, much has changed and today charity often tends to be a click away and a clean cheque. Laniado is committed to involving everyone – making them feel valued members and leaders within the charity, bringing it back into the home and making charity once again, part of the fabric of their lives. We have identified a talented group of young women who are able to contribute their skills and enthusiasm to create a dynamic Laniado Ladies Committee. With numerous ideas for events suited for all ages being banded about at our inaugural meeting there is a lot to look forward to.
Our Ladies Team includes: Laura Norton, Tracey Dunn, Ellie Blacher, Laura Norton, Debbie Russell, Julia Teper and Vikki Davis, and Lisa Coffer.

- In Israel: Laniado Hospital is always happy to try and accommodate those who wish to volunteer when they are in Netanya. You could volunteer with the paramedics, or on the wards, or you could arrange to visit people who have no one else to visit them. We will be happy to help you organise this volunteering from the UK. Please contact us on 020 8201 6111 or email: info@laniado.co.uk
- In the UK: Laniado UK is always looking for energetic volunteers to help us fundraise for Laniado Hospital.
Youth
Go MAD for Laniado!
Do you consider yourself young? One of the main reasons why Laniado Hospital started was to show people, especially young people, that they can make a difference. We believe that young people care about the fact that people die if they don’t receive the best medical treatment. We believe that they want to make a difference but they just don’t know how. Laniado will show you how you can Go MAD. Go and Make A Difference.
The principle of how Laniado encourages young people to help is simple. It works by getting young people to network. If you get involved and get your school and synagogue friends involved, and they do the same – we will soon have thousands of young people making a difference. Laniado is for you! We will give you the material needed to carry out your networking.

Schools work
Over the past few years we have been working with many schools within London. We are available for doing presentations in both Primary and Secondary Schools. We have been very encouraged by the responses from the schools, by the children who enjoyed the presentation and by the feedback which we have received. Many schools have said that we gave one of the best presentations they have seen for a charity. We hope to maintain this high standard and get more schools involved.
If you are a teacher or headteacher and would like to have your school involved please contact us on 020 8201 6111 or email: info@laniado.co.uk
