The David Baum Family Resource Room at the Bidirici Diabetes Centre

The newly opened Resource Room in the Diabetes Clinic will soon be host to doctors, nurses and families all seeking research and support for Diabetes. The tele-conferencing facilities include web cameras, a library, and internet and will be used for organised seminars allowing professionals from all countries in the region to participate. Educational online training and support will also be available.

Dyna and Fala Weinstock Paediatric Emergency Room

Autumn 2007 saw the doors officially open to the Dyna and Fala Weinstock Children's Emergency room at Laniado Hospital. After its dedication in the Summer, the Ministry of Health confirmed the open doors on the ER room and it is now in full swing. Stay tuned for further updates, statistics and special events at the Children's Emergency Room.

David Baum Family Resource Room at the Bildirici Diabetes Clinic

After the prestigious opening in October, Dr Mark Niven and his collegues at the Diabetes Centre will begin using the Tele-conferencing facility to explore further educational resources for families with diabetes, exporting this knowledge and fortifying the health resources available in the region. Plans include joint conferences with the RCPCH and talks are beginning to establish regular links and online outreach education to Israeli-Arab villages and beyond.
