Laniado Quiz

On Sunday 3rd September 2006, over 260 people packed into Jongleurs in Camden for Young Laniado's Mother of all Movie Quizzes in aid of Laniado Hospital in Netanya.

The smooth, slick and high-tech interactive quiz encompassed everything from film characters and posters to soundtracks, Oscars and film clips, which kept the crowd guessing and the atmosphere buzzing throughout the evening. Haagen Dazs, popcorn and surround-sound music completed the movie experience. The winning table included Andy and Lea Selzer, David Blitz, Katie Rose, Candice Turze, Simon Rosenberg and table captain Adam Diamant, whose display of movie knowledge between them was more than impressive.

Chair of Young Laniado and the quiz organiser Andrew Wolfin said, "The evening exceeded our expectations and the atmosphere was perfect. We were delighted with the enormous turnout and are thrilled to have raised so much money for the hospital."

The event raised £3000 for Laniado hospital which will fund a Warming Pressurised Infuser - a portable machine for the rapid warming and infusion of fluid under emergency conditions.
