Laniado will make Pesach more meaningful

24/12/2007

Sick children at Laniado hospital in Israel, some of whom suffer from long term illnesses or who have been victims of terror attacks including the Park Hotel attack which occurred on Seder night in 2002, drew some very impressive drawings relating to Passover and its meaning. Laniado UK has decided to bring these special drawings to the heart of the Jewish people in the UK while they sit and read the Hagadah.

Laniado UK is publishing a special and unique Hagadah which will incorporates these drawings as its central theme. The Hagadah will be sold in the UK to Jewish organisations, charities, businesses, schools, synagogues, and individuals for £25 each.  Laniado has received already a first order for 50 Hagadahs from Victor Polak 1st vice president at Merrill Lynch PCG who said:"It is a great honour to assist this unique project and a special hospital like Laniado with its extraordinary history and founder, serving all faiths and races in a most personal way".

According to Gaby Blauer, Laniado Campaign's Director: "All proceeds will directly fund Laniado's new Children's Centre. The facility enables the hospital to address the unique health needs of the 64,000 young patients we treat every year in a much more efficient way".
