New development - Maternity and Neo-Natal Nursery

Since the establishment of the hospital in 1974 the Maternity Department at Laniado has enjoyed an excellent reputation. Each month an average of 550 babies are delivered. As a result of the rapidly growing population in Netanya, the Maternity and Neonatal Departments are suffering from problematic overcrowding. The facilities that were adequate when the monthly birth rate was 300 are unfit for the current 550 birth a month. It was critical to rebuild and expand the department.

An additional wing is being built and will be completed soon. This wing will cover 1500 sq. meters and will include an additional 42 beds, constructed to the highest building standards.
