Young Patrons Poker Evening (Event 2)

All In for Laniado!

Over 65 young men and women attended the second professional poker tournament in Camden in aid of Laniado Hospital.

Cash prizes and other items were on offer for the winners of a four and a half hour charity poker tournament organised by the Laniado Young Patrons Committee, headed by Richard Benson and his able team. Long time and new players packed into the venue, many staying on till the final round withMartyn Jones emerging the eventual winner and Gideon Abrams in second place.

Richard Benson said, "This second event was a great success yet again. A simple evening where everyone had a good time and enjoyed giving charity through playing." All players got into the spirit of the cause and raised over £3300 to purchase an item of equipment at Laniado's new Maternity Centre."
