“The dance, music and movement workshop enables me to think positively with strength and without fear. It is great for my soul and my body” explains Rivka a cancer patient for over 10 years who participates in special healing workshops through movement and humour. These workshops at Laniado hospital are designed for patients suffering from cancer and are sponsored by Roche Pharmaceuticals as part of an initiative. “ Thanks to the workshops I can, for a short time forget about the disease” says Chana, a breast cancer sufferer. “Our patients look totally different after the workshop. They laugh, feel better and are more optimistic” says Dr. Yael Merik the director of the Oncology Department at Laniado Hospital. “Roche is assisting us with new treatments as well as enhancing the lives of our patients”.
