Boy Wonder from Radlett Raises £5000 from Skydive

Radlett Synagogue probably never knew they had a daredevil in their midst. TRIBE Youth worker, Ronen Gordon, jumped from 13,000 feet in the air and skydived his way to success by raising over £5000 to support Laniado Hospital.

Besides his genuine enthusiasm and charm, Ronen overcame his fear of heights and rounded up more than 100 friends and family to sponsor him through the JustGiving website for his skydive.

"I just badgered everyone for days until they sponsored me and when I got close to my goal, I raised the bar so I could help fund more equipment at the hospital," Ronen said. "People I didn't even know sponsored me and Radlett Syngagogue has been so supportive."

Ronen plans to visit Laniado at the end of the Summer and has chosen an item of equipment he would like to purchase with the money he raised.
