Top Accolade for Laniado

The Laniado Hospital has been awarded five stars in this year's Council for a Beautiful Israel competition. This was the second time it participated. The relevant factors included the hospital's external appearance, the healthy atmosphere - not only for the patients, but also for carers and consideration for the quality of the environment.

The hospital benefitted from the help given by youngsters belonging to the Achrei Youth movement, who worked on improving the aesthetics of the area around and within the hospital. They worked under the direction of long-term nursing departments director Mrs Mareka Lapler and considerably improved the hospital's appearance.

There has recently been an increase in public involvement in the hospital as a result of the expansion of its ambulatory services.
