Laniado is not just a hospital. It is a centre dedicated round the clock to caring for over a quarter of a million diverse people; the realisation of the Klausenberger Rebbe’s vision born out of the despair of the Holocaust, in which his wife and eleven children were murdered. Founded on principles of human decency and equality, politics and prejudices are left outside as patients are treated with the care that every person deserves. Often doctors are told not to become personally involved with a patient’s case; that emotional attachment removes objectivity.

As far as we are concerned, with our staff, it’s always personal. While others strike for better pay and conditions, the members of the multi-ethnic Laniado team deeply feel that this is their life not just their occupation, and are passionately devoted to it. We want to share that sense of community. We are asking for just £10 a month to be partners in our community and to help us to continue to save lives with dedication, compassion and kindness.
